The Benedictine Foundation's 14th Annual Car Raffle to benefit the Benedictine Sisters has begun, with tickets being offered for a 2007 Kia Spectra EX Sedan donated by Bob Lanphere's Network of Dealerships. The Spectra is an economical and fuel-efficient car that gets an average of 36 miles per gallon.
Raffle tickets are again priced at $50 each and limited to 1,000. The last four car raffles have been completely sold out. The drawing will be held following the Founders' Day Concert on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 4 pm. You do not need to be present to win.
Raffle proceeds benefit the Sisters' Retirement Fund and the Vocation Outreach program of the Sisters in memory of Sr. Dolores Bernards, OSB.
