Prayer Walks with the Benedictine Sisters
A Prayer Walk is a one-on-one experience with on of our sisters that involves prayer, meditation, and conversation. Each journey begins with a short walk to a spiritual place - such as the chapel, meditation garden, or labyrinth - followed by a recitation of St. Benedict's Peace Prayer. These 20-30 minute walks allow you to personally connect with one of our sisters and share your journey, ask for prayers, or just talk.
We are not currently taking Prayer Walk reservations at this time due to social distancing requirements. However, if you'd like to be contacted about a Prayer Walk when they become available, please feel free to complete the form below. Thank you!
Spiritual Director and Development Coordinator Sister Dorothy Jean Beyer, OSB, and Facilities Supervisor Dennis Boyd are interviewed by Judy Alleruzzo of Garden Time about the opening of the St. Scholastica Garden. The new garden is the center piece of the sisters' new Prayer Walk ministry.
